What is Exposed Aggregate Concrete?
After the concrete has been placed and has reached a certain point of curing, a special Retardant is applied to the surface which delays the top layer of cement from setting.
Then using a high pressure washer, a fine layer of the concrete is removed from the surface to expose the decorative aggregates (Stone or Pebble) which was used in the mix.
